Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • This manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it currently under consideration at another journal.
  • The main manuscript file has been fully anonymized, removing names, affiliations, and acknowledgements to ensure Double-Blind Review.
  • The manuscript has been written and formatted according to the Author Guidelines of Al-Mizan (e.g., word count, citations, and references).
  • The Reference List has been verified and entered in the appropriate format (e.g., APA 7th Edition).
  • All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript and the required Cover Letter has been attached.

Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines for Al-Mizan: Journal of Law and Economics

  1. Manuscript Format: Submitted manuscripts must be original empirical research or conceptual studies that have not been previously published elsewhere.

  2. Length: Manuscripts must be between 6,000 to 8,000 words in length, including the abstract, tables, and references.

  3. Abstract & Keywords: The abstract must be written in both Indonesian and English (maximum 100-150 words), followed by 3-5 keywords.

  4. Citations and References: Al-Mizan Journal uses the APA 7th Edition style for all citations and reference lists. All references must be current (at least 80% within the last 10 years).

  5. Structure: The manuscript should follow the structure: Introduction, Theoretical Review, Method, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.

  6. Anonymity: Authors must remove all identifying information from the main manuscript file (including names, affiliations, and acknowledgements) to ensure the Double-Blind Review process.

Articles

Manuscripts accepted in this section are the result of rigorous (empirical/normative) original research and have not been previously published. All manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process by at least two expert reviewers before being considered for publication.

  2. This license permits users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, and to adapt or modify the material, provided they give proper attribution and use the same license.

  3. Authors are permitted to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in Al-Mizan Journal.
