About the Journal

Al-Mizan: Journal of Law and Economics is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal published by the School of Islamic Studies (STAI) Babussalam Sula, North Maluku. This journal is published biannually and has P-ISSN 2461-1042 and E-ISSN 2776-1502. The journal focuses on the academic development of studies in Islamic law and Sharia economics. The scope of study includes issues such as contemporary fiqh, Islamic family law, Sharia banking, zakat, waqf, Sharia business ethics and management, and policy studies related to the implementation of Sharia principles within the Indonesian context.

As a peer-reviewed journal, Al-Mizan accepts articles resulting from empirical research, conceptual studies, and theoretical analyses relevant to contemporary Islamic law and economics themes. Our dedication is to be a relevant and constructive scientific space, dedicated to the dissemination of research results that are systematic, original, and beneficial to academics, practitioners, and relevant policymakers.
